Redmire manufacture and supply barn and garage doors for our own buildings they are also for sale individually for your own building.

A Bespoke made to measure service is available however we keep standard sizes in stock.

Our standard barn doors range from 1.8m to 2.4m wide, and at a height of 2.1m high.

Constructed from slow grown redwood, pressure treated so durability is a given. Ironmongery used is Galvanized unless otherwise requested. And of course our standard doors are used throughout our range of Garages, Barns and Stable Buildings.

Hinged Doors

Only Quality Galvanised fittings are used because of the regular use your door will receive.

Opening Garage Doors are come with a choice of hinge options but all heavy duty. 

  • 24″ 600mm Heavy tee hinges.
  • 24″ 600mm Cranked hook and band hinges.
  • 24″ 600mm Reversible hinges.

Complemented by internally fitted spring bolt (upper) along with standard drop bolt (lower) so as to secure the static door and a lockable Brenton bolt fastens the free door. Cabin hooks are also supplied to hold the doors in an open position. 

Sliding Doors

Sliding Barn doors are hung from 250 kg rated British made sliding rails also hung with bearing assisted rollers 2 per door. Precision pressed handles fitted to the doors which are fastened externally with heavy staple and hasp which can also be locked.

Each leaf of the door is held in place by a corrosion resistant nylon roller, lower tracking can be fitted however they are prone to foul over time.
